A little Burglar

Dim lights up on Tom entering through a smashed window looking around cautiously.

Tom
[whispering to self] This is the first time I have done this before... Now where is it?

He starts searching the room for something. he pulls open drawers and flings miscellaneous items everywhere.

Tom
Come on where is it!?

His eyes catch a shimmering gaudy emerald necklace in a glass case upon the mantle thats over the fireplace.

Tom
There it is! Damn my ungrown legs! I am going to need to stand on something.

He pushes a chair up to the fireplace which allows him to take the ncklace.

Tom
Ms. Applebee took something of mine. So I will just take something of hers.hehe

The sound of a doorknob twisting can be heard.

Tom
ooo! time to go!

He jumps off the chair and rushes out the window. lights fade.

Till the end

Lights up on a man and a woman the man is on the ground bleeding out. The woman is kneeling next to him holding his hands and crying.

Garham
Kim do... you... rember what I promised? [coughs]

Kim
That we would be together forever!

Garham
Well I... [coughs] am sorry that I couldn't keep that promise...

Kim
Garham! your not going to die! hang in there!

Gahram
[coughs] Kim! listen... I also told you that I would love you till the end[coughs]... and that promise I will keep... Kim... I love..you...

He exhales his last breath and is dead.

Kim
No!! Garham!! Please!! Nooooooooo!!!!

Sobbing she frantically shakes him trying to get him to wake up. He does not move. Lights fade.

Lights up on two men in comfy recliner chairs watching tv. One man has five o clock shadow the other has a full beard. They are both in their boxers and eating from a bowl of pretzles in between them.

Man 1
Wow isn't Maryanne being such a bitch for cheating on Bradon and lying to their son jimmy.

Man 2
I know right, Jimmy doesn't even know that bradon is his biological father. She keeps telling him that his real father died.

Man 1
Oh look there! Ashton has died of heart failure!Again!

Man2
Ehh he'll be back thats like, what, the seventh time he has died?

Man 1
no it is eighth time.

OH yeah! thats right last season he was murdered by Mrs maggie the old gardner lady who had an affair with Zachary the young buissness man. I always keep forgetting.

Man 1

A spotlight comes up on a man on SL who looks sad.

Man
Why is this happening?... I can't get to her... I have gotten so close many time but I can't seem to reach her... She beckons, teases and leads me on. I follow her even though I know I can't succeed... What can I say? I love her, regardless of her cruelty that pains my heart... I guess its because she is like a rare gem in a museum, so beautiful, so perfect, yet so...Unobtainable


Another spotlight slowly comes up on SR revealing a beautiful woman. She beckons him to come over. a path of light comes up connecting their spotlights. The man starts to run towards. When he reaches the end of the path her spotlight blacks out. He stops immediately and bows his head in defeat. lights slowly fade.

Empty,Numb,Alone

A spotlight comes up on a man he has a blank expression on his face.

Man
What is this place?... So dark...

He glances around slowly and shudders.

Man
Its so cold...

He rubs his arms together as if trying to warm them. Something strikes him as odd and he gets slightly bothered. he looks at both of his hand he slowly rubs them together. He moves his right hand down and up his left arm and then he moves his left hand up and down his right arm.

Man
Yet, how come I can't Feel anything?

He ponders for a beat.

Man
No... I do feel something... Inside... I feel... Alone...

He gets scared almost frantic.

Man
Hey is any body there!!?...

His voice trails off.

Man
[quietly defeated] I don't want to be alone...

lights slowly fade.

Monsters want rights!!

Lights up on Dracual, a witch, a mummy, Frankensteins monster and a where wolf. They are marching in a circle carrying Picket signs.

Where Wolf
Monsters are people too!!... or, uh, were... At one point in time!!

Witch
Love the freaks, not the treats!!

Dracula
We're tired of being made fun of on Hallooween!! We demand respect not fear!!

Mummy
Ughhhhhhhhh! mmmmmmmmmmmrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaarrrrmmmmmmmm!!!

Frankenstein's monster

Witch
We want treats so dont dress like freaks!!

Lights fade.

Monsters

Dim lights up on a scared little girl. She is peaking her head above the covers.
growling can be heard.

Girl
[squeaks out a whisper] Just go away.

more low growling can be heard. She gains a little more confidence.

Girl
Your not real!!

The bed thumps and she screams.

Girl
Go away!! go away!!

The bed starts to shake and tremble. Angry growling can be heard and she is crying helplessly. Then everything abruptly stops.After a beat the girl breath a sigh of relief.

Girl
I did it! [Smiles] I grot rid of the monster!!

The growling and shaking returns and she starts to scream again. This time the bed starts to tip and the little girl clings on to the side of the bed in the air. lights black out Roaring can be heard above the fading scream.
